Rustic Boho Wisconsin Fall Wedding

There truly is nothing like a Wisconsin Fall wedding. The colors of the trees, the crisp air, and the love that surrounds the season. There is so much opportunity to embrace the beautiful warm colors in your flowers, décor, and ensemble. Amelia & Tyler said I do amongst the Rustic Boho wedding at Harvest Moon Pond, and it was surely a day to remember.

Their Love Story

Brought together by friends at a bonfire, Amelia & Tyler were close friends before they started dating. They dated during Amelia’s years in college and were miles apart for the first 5 years of the relationship. But they made it through the distance and phone conversations. It made them stronger as a couple.

While visiting family in Boscobel, Wisconsin, Tyler popped the question. Surrounded by sunflowers at a local apple orchard, the couple took the next step in their love story.

Why a Wisconsin Fall Wedding at Harvest Moon Pond?

They chose Harvest Moon Pond because of the very first impression they got when they toured the venue. They felt it was the perfect place for their special day because of the layout, how beautiful each area of the venue is and how helpful Stephanie & Brian were.

Having a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions they made. She made sure everything went by smoothly and knew exactly what to do in each situation to make the day go by beautifully.

It was difficult for the couple to pick a specific moment as their favorite. There were so many moments of their big day that hold a special place in their hearts.

They did a “first touch” and wrote personal letters to each other. That moment was one of their favorites because they were able to talk to each other around the corner of the building without seeing one another before the ceremony. It was very special and intimate having that calm moment together before the ceremony.

Advice from the Couple

Your wedding day is just one day of many that you will have together. Try not to stress about the little details or having the day go perfectly. Everything works out and goes the way it should.

The biggest piece of advice is to enjoy the day with each other and take it all in because it goes by fast.

Rustic Harvest Moon Pond Spring Wedding

Taylor and Stephen’s Harvest Moon Pond Spring wedding could only be described as their personal Rustic Fairytale.

Their Love Story

Like any great Wisconsin love story, Taylor and Stephen met over football. It was January 2017, and Taylor was there to meet up with some running friends to watch the Packers take on the Falcons in the NFC title game. Stephen, meanwhile, was there rocking’ his “amazingly full and handsome” playoff ‘stache to watch his beloved Patriots take on the Steelers in the AFC title matchup. Conversations ensued about football, babies, and the Bachelor, and the rest is history…

After a strenuous hike up to Siyeh Pass in Glacier National Park, Stephen claimed that he wanted to get a good photo of them, so he set a timer on his camera and propped it up. After a few attempts to “get the angle just right,” he got down on one knee and captured the perfect proposal photo.

Why a Harvest Moon Pond Spring Wedding?

Taylor & Steven chose Harvest Moon Pond due to the gorgeous outdoor space and the rustic yet modern feel. They fell in love with the willow trees, spacious lawn, and patio space perfect for cocktail hour and games. They also loved having the peace of mind knowing that the beautiful, updated barn was available for the ceremony if there were any weather disruptions— one less thing to worry about when planning the big day!

But on their wedding day, it did not rain. It was a beautiful spring day for the Rustic Fairytale wedding that they always imagined.

A couple of their favorite moments were tearfully reading their handwritten vows and slow dancing in the middle of an impromptu circle of swaying guests to “Piano Man” as the last song of the evening. There was so much magic in the moment.

Advice from the Couple

They do not think that they fully understood the concept of, “it goes by fast” until they woke up the day after their wedding. It truly, truly does go by way too fast. Try to breathe and be fully present as much as possible. How special is it that everyone you know and love came out to celebrate your love? Simply a magical feeling that they will forever be grateful for.

Having Taylor & Stephen here at Harvest Moon Pond was nothing short of magical. We wish them the best going forward in their lives together.
